Just got back from making connections from Gatwick to Pisa via British
Air.
Spent only one night at Gatwick Hilton on each leg since I find London
as pleasant as Newark NJ and that might be an insult to Newark.

I saw the earlier post about a delayed flight causing woes
and it brought back memories.
For the 2002 December Holidays, my wife, son, and I bought
three tickets on Delta.  We asked friends for a ride to the

Listening to audio channel 9 on United, at higher altitudes and during
cruise I hear ATC say things like "What's your mach?"  and "Maintain
mach 77" and at lower altitudes and during approaches "slow to 180" or
"maintain 250 for spacing".

I had bought a winter coat during my trip but thanks to the thieves at
TSA, I am now out of $350! Now I can thanks my useless and ineffective
government for doing a great job of capitalizing on terrorism at the
expense of its citizens. May the real terrorists are those scums in

Halogen lights in the cargo hold are too hot and caused a fire last year
during a flight (ignited a bag). Fire supression worked that time.
FAA is issuing a request to change all cargo halogen lights to normal
