Just read an article in todays Guardian suggesting that cabin crew would take your passport as security against their IFE units. Now in my passport it clearly states that this document cannot be used as security against a loan as it is not your property.

I am looking to be able to book my flights by class code; ie: Y B H J A etc for one world alliance. However when i book seats online (my preferred method) I often find I am booked into another class such as K class.

We are travelling with US air from Manchester UK to Philadelphia then onward to Las Vegas. Our flight times have been ammended and now only show 90 minutes in between connections. We are worried we may not have enough time as we also have to collect baggage to go through customs
