Airplane's Toilet Ice Crashes Garden Party
GRAZ, Austria (AP) - It was an inelegant intruder on a sunny afternoon: a
chunk of ice from a jetliner toilet that broke free and slammed into an
Austrian family's garden.

Today's (Sept 18) Washington Post reports that Bombardier and Embraer have
withdrawn financing from almost 100 RJs that USAir has ordered.  The planes
were to be used on US's thinner routes and short-haul routes.
This certainly can't help US's future.

We're planning a trip from the midwestern US to New Zealand.  I've
been looking at flights, and it costs less to buy a ticket to Los
Angeles, and another from LA to New Zealand, than to buy 1 ticket to
New Zealand with 1 stop in LA.  My question: what issues will we face
