Airplane's Toilet Ice Crashes Garden Party
GRAZ, Austria (AP) - It was an inelegant intruder on a sunny afternoon: a
chunk of ice from a jetliner toilet that broke free and slammed into an
Austrian family's garden.
Poor USAirways18 Sep 2004 23:15 GMT1
Today's (Sept 18) Washington Post reports that Bombardier and Embraer have
withdrawn financing from almost 100 RJs that USAir has ordered.  The planes
were to be used on US's thinner routes and short-haul routes.
This certainly can't help US's future.

Why do you morons insist on arguing with Megatroll Pedotroll Michael
Voight of Cisco ("anonymous", "mrtravel", etc. etc. etc.) when you
know he is a TROLL who is out to wind you up and has been doing it for
more than 10 years?????

Why did you stop posting to alt.visa.us.marriage-based (blech) after
you were reported to your employer?
I thought you said you were not doing anything unlawful in your sleazy
green card selling newsgroup.  You kind of gave yourself away there
question about connecting flights18 Sep 2004 16:33 GMT30
We're planning a trip from the midwestern US to New Zealand.  I've
been looking at flights, and it costs less to buy a ticket to Los
Angeles, and another from LA to New Zealand, than to buy 1 ticket to
New Zealand with 1 stop in LA.  My question: what issues will we face

My partner has just return home from a 4 day trip to Vegas (for friends
wedding). She went from Gatwick to Dallas and then she was supposed to fly
to Las Vegas but was diverted to Phoenix. This was because the air traffic
control system for the west of the states was down. The ...
Maintenance while on the ramp and loaded?18 Sep 2004 14:13 GMT22
How many of you have looked out the window on a flight and saw mechanics
working on the plane?  This question came about from a story a friend told
me.  He's a 10000hr + airline pilot/engineer.  He says one time a fan blade
on a Rolls Royce RB-211 turbo fan angine on an MD-11 ...

Nice travel site to find deals18 Sep 2004 06:54 GMT1
Just wanted to pass along a site I found to be very helpful when planning
my trips to San Diego, and now New Orleans. By using the comparison
shopping links I found some really good deals.

US Airways Space Available upgrade vouchers on ebay - genuine ?18 Sep 2004 02:00 GMT1
Someone (not me!) is selling these on ebay. Claims that if used then
you will get upgraded if there is space available in business/first.
Is this genuine or does it sound like a con?
Also, how likely is it that business/first will be full during
Atlanta airport in ground stop18 Sep 2004 01:14 GMT5
CNN reports that Atlanta airport is under a ground stop due to IVAN.
No identity check on AMS-MRS route. Is it really secure?17 Sep 2004 23:24 GMT13
In those times where airport security regularly makes the headlines, I
was surprised when, last week, I didn't need to show my ID even once to
get on a KLM CityHopper flight between Amsterdam Schiphol (NL) and
Marseille Provence (FR)!
If OS's Were Airlines17 Sep 2004 13:43 GMT1
What if Operating Systems were actually airlines? Here are some descriptions
of these OSAirs....
