Budapest Airport27 Nov 2004 23:05 GMT10
With Budapest firmly established on the lo-co networks and a popular weekend
destination, why doesn't it have any decent public transport links to get
you downtown? I was there a few weeks ago and couldn't find a train or metro
in to the city centre! It was a nightmare!

Hey Folks,
I'm doing LAX to MUC then connecting to OTP, all on Lufthansa.
My MUC flight arrives at 13:00 and my OTP flight leaves MUC at 13:45.
Is this enough time to get to my flight?
Racial Segregation on Southern U.S. Flights?26 Nov 2004 18:26 GMT3
I can't get an answer to this question on google.  Does anyone know if
flights in the South (for example New Orleans to Birmingham) were
segregated like buses or railroads were under the Jim Crow laws? Any
information would be appreciated.
Thanks, Eric Spillman!26 Nov 2004 18:25 GMT1
As they do on every busy travel holiday, the KTLA Morning News sent
Eric Spillman to LAX to show how long the lines are and to chat with
people. This year, Eric gave everyone a great tip for getting through
the ridiculously long security lines at the check in: don't arrive
Which airline for food in Economy Class26 Nov 2004 13:19 GMT2
I used to travel British Airways to the Far East.
I then tried Singapore Airlines as my friend (from Singapore ;0) )
recommended so.

Further problems at China Eastern25 Nov 2004 22:32 GMT1
Following the recent CRJ crash (with 55 fatalities) I understand this
airline has suffered further problems.
The day after the crash (22.11) another CRJ took off from Yuanji
(bound for Qingdao and Shanghia) but could not rectract its landing
Passport Validity for US Travel25 Nov 2004 21:52 GMT21
Is there any requirement for a minimum valid period on a UK passport when
visiting the US?
Someone told me that my passport will need to be valid for at least 6 months
AFTER my travel dates - is this true?
Why do airlines behave like bus companies ?25 Nov 2004 21:06 GMT4
I spent a little time this afternoon checking on shuttle flights between
MIA and LHR. I was less than pleased to find that BA and BM have
identical TO and landing times. Forgive my ignorance, (please), but is
it not part of the remit of the CAA to ensure that route schedules

BBC reports that EADS will give Airbus permission to spend 3.3 billion dollars
to develop a competitor to Boeing's 7E7.
(not sure if it will be a 330 derivative, or a totally new 350).
Also, Vietnam Airlines has been given authority to confirm its previous ly

This being the day before Thanksgiving in the U.S., maybe we can post some

There is a mob scene at the ticket counter by Northwest - I don't know if
