Last August my wife and I flew JFK to Bangkok on Aeroflot..and we were allowed to stopover in Moscow for several days (visa required) , which in our mind was like free air fare to Moscow...any one have similar trips they are aware of?

I am contemplating a flight on British Airlines from Spain to the U.S. via London transferring between Heathrow and Gatwick. I would like to know if I will be able to check my luggage all the way to the U.S. or will I have to take my luggage through customs in London?

I'll be flying into honolulu via standby, so need to get inexpensive interisland flight "on demand" at airport. ie I won't know exactly what flight I'll be able to catch into honolulu, so I can't book an interisland flight in advance.
