[NEWS]: Student Says Hid Weapons on Planes, Court Papers Say23 Dec 2004 21:22 GMT42
Looks like this is going to another case of the federal government

Skyhigh Airlines23 Dec 2004 16:52 GMT2
I just revisisted the Skyhigh Airlines web site, at
http://www.skyhighairlines.com and found that they actually updated the site
and added new content since I last visited it quite some time ago.
They now sell various goodies, and have a catalog (in PDF) format, well worth
More Japanese 7E7's23 Dec 2004 12:13 GMT2
Boeing seems to have some success in Japan selling its 7E7. Japanese
Airlines have now joined ANA in ordering 30 of the beat with an option for
another 20. More government intervention?

Trip report MIA to New Orleans22 Dec 2004 12:07 GMT9
Got to airport plenty early.  Curb checked bags.  I fly infrequently,
and I did not realize that the baggage check person gave us our
boarding passes, so we went to the machine and got two more.  I would
think this would be something they wouldn't let us do.

United to Vietnam & FF miles21 Dec 2004 23:33 GMT4
I tried to use my ff miles to get an upgrade on the new route to Saigon.  I
paid for a premium ticket that allows upgrades.  However, I had to be put on a
waiting list.  Do waiting list passengers ever get their upgrades?  I have a
ton of miles, but it is difficult to use them.  ...
ATL quick question21 Dec 2004 21:18 GMT5
My friend and I are both going from Atlanta to Cancun, but on different
airlines; our flights are about an hour apart. She's going on Delta, I'm
going on a code-share Mexicana flight.
Will we be able to wait together in the same area, or will I have to wait in
Return trip from different destination in Europe21 Dec 2004 18:58 GMT6
We plan to fly from London to Venice, take a cruise ending in Barcelona, and
fly back to London.   We will be using different airlines because of time
schedules.  Since one-way tickets are more expensive, shall we book two round
trips and throw away the 2nd parts?  Why do the ...
Long Routes21 Dec 2004 17:47 GMT26
Some of the "virtual" airlines in Flight Simulator do some rather long
routes, that I think would be too long for a real 747-400. ORD-HKG
would be pushing it. HAV-NRT and MIA-NRT would certainly mean
they would be flying on vapors by time they got to their destination.
