Aircraft cabin humidity25 Jan 2005 21:22 GMT16
Recently while traveling on Air Canada, using my radioshack
thermometer/hygrometer, on all Air Canada planes in economy, I measured 24C
and 30% rh which is a quite high humidity level.  I'm interested to know
what everyone else has measured while traveling.

Comair Downed By Computer Counting Limit
The computer failure that grounded an airline's entire fleet over the
Christmas weekend and stranded thousands of travelers was due to creaky
software that couldn't count higher than 32,768.
KLM doing something right?25 Jan 2005 21:01 GMT7
I needed to book a seat AMS-LON today, talking to KLM at about 0930
this morning they said there were just a total of 3 seats left today,
all flights, both classes, and both LHR and LCY. Checking the other 2
full service carriers, both BA and BD had availability on all their
AA Award Travel before Thanksgiving25 Jan 2005 17:11 GMT3
In 2004, I tried five months ahead of time to get award travel from
ONT to San Antonio, TX, the weekend of Nov. 19, but there was none.
This year, I tried over ten months ahead of time for the same
conference, this time from ONT to Philadelphia, the same equivalent

One year return trip?24 Jan 2005 23:01 GMT2
I am relocating to the UK and want to buy a round trip ticket, with the
return date a day or 2 shy of a year. I spoke with someone at American
Airlines and they said this is doable. My problem is, when I do an internet
search for such a ticket, I get an "out of date range" kind ...
Next Airforce One: Airbus A38024 Jan 2005 22:53 GMT7
How long will it be before Boeing stops 747 production, either with a proper
farewell to the greatest passenger plane of the last 30 years, or quietly. The
latter is perhaps more likely given the inevitable references the press would

Cheap JFK-DCA24 Jan 2005 21:54 GMT14
I'll be visiting New York next July, and I was wondering what's the cheapest
way of making a short hop to Washington (like leaving in the morning and
returning in the evening). Is something like that even possible, or should I
better remain in New York because of the lengthy ...
