My wife and I are planning a trip to the USA in September and are

One option is to fly from the UK to LAX via Washington Dulles Airport.
However, I seem to remember reading something some time ago that

Connection at Frankfurt28 Feb 2005 16:17 GMT5
I am flying on Luthansa from IAH to FRA and then a change of planes (but

If I book on Continental, I have to pay nearly four times as much for a
Why must we book 2-3 weeks in advance?28 Feb 2005 02:33 GMT5
I suppose I should know this, but I don't. Why do so many airlines
require a 14 or 21-day advance booking in order to get an affordable
fare? Also, is there any such thing as "stand by" anymore?
