| expiring miles - what can i do with them? | 06 Feb 2005 15:40 GMT | 5 |
I have a little over 20K miles on United that will expire in April. I really don't plan on travelling before then, and it's not enough to go anywhere. You need a minimum of 25K if you're in the US. It would cost approx $175 to buy 5,000 more and it would cost someone $75 to ...

| Boeing 1970s promotional video of 747 | 06 Feb 2005 14:06 GMT | 9 |
Just watched a Boeing promotional video filmed in 1974 but released in 1975 extoling the virtues of the 747. It followed a Columbia airlines flight 409 through one eventful flight over the USA rockies. Interestingly, it only had 120 passengers on it.
