Southwest question21 Apr 2005 15:01 GMT3
To experienced SWA hands:
When Southwest website says a particular fare is unavailable, are they
counting only sold tickets or "courtesy" reservations as well (which

Why do airfare prices fluctuate over time?21 Apr 2005 14:23 GMT6
On April 7 I priced a round trip flight for travel on the weekend of
June 24. The price on the airline's website was just under $300. When I
price it today, the price is over $414 for the same flight numbers on
the same day. I can check seat availability at AA.com, and currently ...

Ladies and gentleman, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them going
again. I trust you are not in too much distress.
Airflight Insurance20 Apr 2005 22:50 GMT8
Does anyone out there have airflight insurance (life insurance should
your plane crash)?  I've been thinking about purchasing some since I am
going to be travelling a lot in the next several months to some pretty
exotic destinations, and am generally not a huge fan of flying.

I am posting this message, as I am planning a trip to Las Vegas in
October and have a few questions.
First can anyone tell me what the difference is between a Premier,

Is there a better way to move the President?19 Apr 2005 16:37 GMT13
I was waiting for my flight out of MDW last Friday, and found that a
number of flights had been disrupted.  The departure board looked like
it frequently does during bad winter weather, with the word "Delayed"
next to perhaps a dozen flights.  The only difference was that the

Best US Domestic airline for large passenger19 Apr 2005 04:01 GMT5
At 5'11" and 275, I'm  not exactly gargantuan, but I'm large enough that
tight armrests can be the difference in a comfortable or an uncomfortable
flight. Which US airlines have the widest seats and the most lee-way wrt to
"oversize pasenger" penalties?
