Photography at BHX15 Apr 2005 18:47 GMT2
Can anyone suggest a better place for taking aircraft photography apart from
the viewing gallery (tinted double glazed windows, sun facing towards you in
the afternoon, admittedly not much of a problem at Birmingham).
I have seen some very close up photos taken at BHX but they seem ...
News for Mezei15 Apr 2005 06:00 GMT3
Mezei resents US passport control measures. How ironic then:

French may have to buy compulsory biometric ID cards
Plan for compulsary ID card could go into effect in 2007
deplane or board in the middle stop?15 Apr 2005 01:35 GMT11
Is it ok to deplane before the final stop if you only have carry on
bag? For example, If I have a flight from city A to city C that makes a
plane change in city B, can I deplane in city B?
Likewise, if I have a flight from city C to city A that makes a plane

He royally f.cked up the illegal invasion and occupation of Iraq, oil
prices are at historically high levels, the dollar is tanking, wages
are at record lows, millions without jobs, and he has to go and meddle
in some family's PRIVATE lives and dictate that they have to keep

Has anyone used the Maxell HP/NC-II Noise Cancellation Headphones?  I'm
looking for opinions on them and, if possible, comparisons to other NC

How is the service of Ryanair ?13 Apr 2005 17:19 GMT9
I'm planning to take a trip from Venice to Paris later on this month and I
find out that there are some very low cost flights offered by Ryanair during
this period. As I have never used Ryanair before, could anyone send me some

Are there any UAL retirees out there who can help me.  My husband always
made out reservations but since his passing I haven't used the pass
option.  United has just started flying out of my location and I don't
have a clue as to what to do.  I need step-by-step instructions.  I ...

British Airways announced a couple of days ago that they're going to

ABOUT TIME!! Some US airlines have already done so.
getting to Duino12 Apr 2005 21:52 GMT9
I'm trying to sort out a trip from Vancouver to Duino (near Trieste).  It
would seem impossible to fly to Trieste airport in fewer than three hops
(unless I transfer from Heathrow to the Ryanair flight from Stansted).
An alternative would be to fly into Venice.
American Airliines (AA) Phasing out the MD-80?12 Apr 2005 19:05 GMT26
There are rumours going around that American is set to retire their
MD-80 fleet by the end of this year, replaced with the more roomier and
efficient 737-800 series.  I was surprised to hear that American was
still flying MD-80's.  I know they got rid of all their DC-10's back in
Confirming United flights?12 Apr 2005 14:19 GMT8
Do you have to confirm a flight with United (domestic)?  I went to the
website and there was no mention of it. We don't have to do it in Australia
any more, but I was just wondering. I booked this ages ago, in December. Now
I'm heading home...don't want to turn up at the airport ...
