Cell phones on planes worry U.S. law enforcement

There seems to be a real absence of cheap flights from the UK to the USA for
after September. Last year BA were offeringf the London to NY fare at £199
inc, the year before I got to go for £175 but now there's nothing about,

I was told on Tuesday a MyTravel was going to land on one the runways, but
at the last minute put full power on and climbed then did a hard bank.
Does anyone know what the problem was?  I've a funny feeling they had landed
on or was going to land on the wrong runway.

I am able to find a $430 ticket through Priceline.com from San
Francisco to Paris (June 21-July 6). It includes FedExing the ticket to
me, taxes, fuel surcharge, etc.
