Haven't been to Turkey for a few years, so I wondered what is the best
currency to take now, $, £ or Eur?
Also, what is the usage of credit cards nowadays?

What is that idiotic thing blocking virtually all the footroom on B-777
window seats, some kind of electronic box for the interactive TV?   If
so, that ought to fit in a cubic inch nowdays.  It is absolutely
excruciating to take a 7+hr flight with your feet blocked and the seat

Okay, enough of this "riff-raff". Let's get down to brass tacks. Who do
you think will survive the debacle of airlines trying to stay in

Anyone else noticed how unclean airplanes have become in the last few
years?  I used to fly more frequently for travel prior to '98 and never
noticed the dirty windows, seat backs, tray tables, etc.  Now it seems
like the planes simply aren't cleaned often enough, if at all.

What are the best strategies for getting the maximum discounted
First Class ticket for a U.S. airline?

i'm holding out for some better prices in November to go to the USA. Went 18
months ago with BA and got 3 returns LHR - EWR for £175 return each inc

I've bought a ticket online using my name - Tim Ricketts. However, my
passport has my FULL name - Timothy Ricketts. Is this seemingly minor detail
likely to cause chaos at check in? It's a KLM city hopper to Amsterdam and
on to Salzburg. I could ask KLM ,but no doubt they'll want ...

What would America West do with a bunch of A350s if the US Airways merger
doesn't go through? Or US Airways, which serves a handful of European
destinations that don't require an aircraft with an 8,600 range? This is

unions intensified contract negotiations Thursday, pushing to settle their
differences before a bankruptcy court rules on their high-risk showdown
over labor costs.

Can jet fighters fly slow enough to ID or examine the small
prop-driven private planes that are increasingly entering the
protected airspace of Washington DC?  Can they even shoot down such
planes?  (no heat signature for an air-to-air missle to lock on to?)

Has anyone recently travelled with China Eastern airlines? I'm thinking

Is there anyone who sells off single seats on executive jets?   I
have noticed several companies will try to sell you half of the
plane, typically at very steep rates, but I have found no one who
specializes in selling single passenger tickets on such flights.
