Is it me.....or has United Airlines website been down?  In the last week or
so, its been down more than its been up it seems.  I've tried ual.com,
united.com, and mileageplus.com with no success for any of them and from
several different computers.

Someone at work brought me a carton of Marlboro lights but he can't remember
how much he paid and now he wants his money back :-)
He flew to Norway (outside EU). Do anyone remember how much it cost? About
25 pounds?

Are there still some airlines which allow 32kg (70lbs) on flights within
europe? Or are they all restricted to 20kg now?

My UK passport expires some time in 2006 - i was under 18 when getting
it. Travel agent said we need a 10 year passport, to go to corfu. Are
they right in saying this? I would rather not waste money getting a new
one yet.

I'm planning a car rental from Arnold Clark company in Scotland because
their prices include most insurance coverages. Anyone have experience with
that agency, good or bad?

I was travelling back from Frankfurt last week on the Lufthansa flight,
due to arrive at 22.45.  Due to thunderstorms at FRA we were delayed an
hour.

If UA does go on strike, what are a passenger's rights?  Must any

US tourism 'losing billions because of image'

A very last minute idea/a total speculation is that I pay only $300
U.S. Dollars for a valid round-trip ticket (that may otherwise be
unused/wasted)  for my leaving Atlanta around the 12th of May for a few
days of visiting in Holland.

Actually, it will be 5:20 hrs. Is it enough time to get to downtown
Amsterdam and do some basic sightseeing, perhaps get on the shortest
possible canal cruise, and return on time?
