When would you think I could start checking with Continental, delta etc for using airmiles to Europe in the summer of 2006? It seems I ask and they say too soon and the next time I call they say "oh too late"

I found this article very fascinating. It's looking at the economics of frequent flyer mileage. Half of miles are accumulated through other means besides flying. People are racking up miles at increasing rates. The number of award seats stay the same. So there are a lot more people

Mom & I got back from a short plane trip. Her ears adjusted fine, but about a week later, she woke up saying that when she swallows, her left ear makes a louder noise.

I've only ever flown on planes that have 3 seats on one side, a middle isle and 3 on the other side. In looking at the seating charts for our next trip (LAX to JFK) I see that most of the planes have rows of 7 seats. 2 on each side and 3 in the middle. My question is if I/we ...
