While sitting on an American Airlines's 777 at Heathrow Nov. 6 waiting
in line to take off we felt and heard while stationary a big bump and
then another.  A few minutes later the pilot came on the PA to announce
the plane was safe but a Turkish Airliner had hit our wing and tail ...

Is it possible to take a domestic flight from Dubai?  Presumably by the
time you get to another airport you are in another of the (tiny)
Emirates: would people regard such a journey as international travel?

I'm planning a vacation a few months in advance.  And scouting the
regular prices at the individual airline company sites, I was wondering
how far in advance should I buy a ticket before prices start going up?
