Global Internet Access09 Dec 2005 09:22 GMT9
Sometime ago, I asked for info on internet access abroad.  I didn't take it
up at the time but this time I want to.
MaGlobe was suggested - www.maglobe.com .
I have looked at several sites and one thing I have noticed is, if you are
Flight Attendant Uniforms09 Dec 2005 03:48 GMT2
I'm working on putting a photo shoot together, and while there are
several online "pilot's uniform" supply stores, I haven't had any luck
finding something that looks like a generic "attendant" uniform.
Anyone have any sources, or any ideas that might fill in?

New Delhi, Dec 7: The government-owned Indian Airlines (IC) has
acquired a new corporate identity and a new name as well. It will now
be called ''Indian". The word 'Airlines' has been dropped and will
hopefully shed its somewhat stodgy image. Passengers will be greeted by
anyone ever book through www.worldfares.net/martinfares.net??08 Dec 2005 14:45 GMT6
I am concerned by www.worldfares.net and www.martinfares.net.
I have not purchased anything through them due to the fact that:
1. Payments must be made by Western Union through these two identical
sites, martinfares and worldfares. Account is under a person’s name

While some airlines are struggling to fill its planes, I had the
unusual
experience of being on a CO flight (697) from IAH to LAS that was
overbooked by 15!

Midway to O'Hare transfer06 Dec 2005 18:13 GMT21
I recently bought tickets through Travelocity for my wife and myself on
United that required us to fly from Denver to Chicago Midway and the
transfer to O'Hare for the flight to Albany.  I did not notice the
airport change in Chicago when I purchased the ticket.  It was
Philippine Airlines Advanced Confirmation06 Dec 2005 12:33 GMT3
Does PAL still have this ridiculous policy of demanding comfirmation 72
hrs in advance. If you dont confirm you get bumped off and bad lack if
the flight is over booked as well. I have never known any other Carrier
to adopt such a futile practice.

US Airline Airplane Purchases05 Dec 2005 22:35 GMT4
It's interesting to note that a vast majority of the recent airline
purchases from Boeing and Airbus have been from areas that previously
did not have much demand.  The Middle East, China, India, etc. have all
been very aggressive in their airplane purchases in the past year (e.g.

I am flying to Sydney from London Heathrow in Jan and the cheapest flights I

The Gulf Air flights require a stay in Bahrain for around 12hrs on the way
