I have been studying the Arrival charts for Heathrow and couldn't help noticing that, when the winds are from the west, they route the majority of the traffic over north and north-east London, including highly populated areas such as hackney/highbury.

Passengers stranded after a plane landed at the wrong airport may not have been offered compensation they were entitled to under EU law. Last month a Ryanair flight from Liverpool to Londonderry landed at Ballykelly airstrip instead of City of Derry airport.
