Silverjet is set to launch a new low-fare business-class airline, including a

Followup: walking south from LAX12 Apr 2006 04:49 GMT31
A few weeks ago I asked if it was possible to walk south from LAX
through the Sepulveda Boulevard tunnel.  Here's what happened when I
tried.
It was easy to walk from the southern row of terminals to the entrance

Suggestion for mitigating heathrow aircraft noise over North London.11 Apr 2006 21:44 GMT1
I have been studying the Arrival charts for Heathrow and couldn't help
noticing that, when the winds are from the west, they route the majority of
the traffic over north and north-east London, including highly populated
areas such as hackney/highbury.
'No Ryanair compensation offered11 Apr 2006 14:23 GMT3
Passengers stranded after a plane landed at the wrong airport may not have
been offered compensation they were entitled to under EU law.
Last month a Ryanair flight from Liverpool to Londonderry landed at Ballykelly
airstrip instead of City of Derry airport.
Air Fare:  San Antonio to Midland/Bay City - July11 Apr 2006 13:26 GMT2
Tryuing to book air fare from San Antonio, Texas to Midland, MI for
late July.  Made the trip a couple of years ago for @$300 per person on

Deluxe Economy Class Seating11 Apr 2006 12:53 GMT7
A few international airlines now have this class.  The first time I
purchased this class was on EVA Air.  The extra couple hundred dollars was
well worth the extra pitch in the seats, which made the transpacific flight
less torturous.  I now understand United has such a class ...

When I made a connection af Frankfurt from a Lufthansa filght at one of
the A gates to a United flight at one of the C gates, I had to go
through an air side security check point.  Or, at least, it never felt
like I left the secured areas.  Why did they do this?  Was it just a

Open JAW Question09 Apr 2006 09:56 GMT6
I am trying to determine how I can get the best open JAW price for two

to China if the savings difference would be significant from ...
the best Active *Noise* Reduction technology existing08 Apr 2006 21:33 GMT17
I am trying to decide on an Active Noise Reduction (ANR) headset or
earplugs.  I have looked at the Sony, Bose, Shure and other models, but
almost all reviews/comments mix two very different issues: noise
reduction and sound quality.
Garuda flights to Europe08 Apr 2006 10:53 GMT3
It seems they are not flying at all. Is this permanent? I had a look
and to get from London to Jakarta, a fairly reasonable routing that you
would expect any nation's flag carrier to offer (between two capitals)
doesn't exist, and you have to change in Kuala Lumpur, clearly on a
