Elderley Insurance going to Australia06 Jun 2006 15:04 GMT5
Looking for some insurance cover for my wrinkly parents. They're 82 and
80 respectively, in outstandingly good health, though some 12 years ago
dad had some sort of heart murmur that hospitalised him for 24 hours.
They're going to Australia (sorry Australia!!) via Dubai later this ...

Connexion06 Jun 2006 09:08 GMT5
Anyone know which airlines plan to -- or already have -- implement Boeing's
Connexion system on their transatlantic fleet?  I'd love to have internet
access for a seven or eight hour flight.  Beats the shitty IFE hands-down.

I will be traveling from Ottawa through Toronto and I need to decide
on the connection.  AC shows a flight with a connection time of 70

Is luggage allowed on the underground?04 Jun 2006 18:48 GMT11
I figure that will be the cheapest way to get to my hotel if it's OK to
have a suitcase or two.
Bringing Texas closer to Canada04 Jun 2006 15:48 GMT6
I'm a Texan girl dating a Canadian man (Toronto area, to be more
precise). He and I fly to see each other as often as possible. I do all
the researching and booking myself, he gives me his credit card to pay
for the trips. My question is... can anyone give me suggestions that
Big companies and preferred airlines, etc.04 Jun 2006 05:28 GMT2
Someone who works at a big company told me that they have to make
all travel arrangements through a specific travel agent which prefers
specific airlines, rental car companies, hotels, etc., and that it
takes some jumping through hoops to get a travel itinerary using
Inter-terminal transfer at LGA04 Jun 2006 04:42 GMT1
For an upcoming trip, I am scheduled RDU-LGA-YUL. The first leg is on
US, arriving in the USAir terminal at LGA scheduled 8:00 am. The
second is on AC, leaving Central Terminal, concourse A, at 8:45.
I know there's a bus between terminals, and that it's not even so hard
Air Canada vs United Airlines web sites?03 Jun 2006 22:14 GMT2
Very interesting to compare Air Canada's very helpful and usable air
travel booking web site with United Airlines' much less helpful web
site, at least in checking out a potential code-shared round trip San
Francisco to Montreal.
