after the US Labor Day holiday and back to school etc. it appears that "At
some stage" fares should go down a ways. My friends have been monitoring the

The Thumbscrews Get Tightened Another Notch31 Jul 2006 13:22 GMT5
I'm not a frequent flyer, so I have no idea how long this has been

one engine fails on 77730 Jul 2006 22:21 GMT23
Can twin engined planes fly perfectly fine with only 1 engine? Would
there have been a major problem if the failure occurred halfway across
the Atlantic Ocean?

On the Tarmac for FIVE HOURS Due to LAX Power Failure? WTF?!?!?!29 Jul 2006 16:56 GMT24
There was a power failure at LAX the other day (July 18th). Artie
Lange (of the Howard Stern Show) happened to be flying to LAX at the
time, and reports that his flight was diverted to Phoenix, where it
spent FIVE HOURS on the tarmac before proceeding on to LA.
Most Memorable UnStomachable Episodes in World Travel Experiences29 Jul 2006 16:43 GMT20
Well, it's not that easy to be un-sickening, and to have such a
disgusting topic which surely most anyone or nearly everybody can
probably unfortunately identify with.
For instance: When touristing in Mexico from U.S.A., I hereaby vow not
Cheap Airfare London to Amsterdam?29 Jul 2006 10:49 GMT7
Can anyone recommend a good website or airline for cheap airfare from
London to Amsterdam? I'll be travelling in the February/March
timeframe. I've been told to check Ryanair, but it seems that they do
not provide service between these two destinations.

I just received my newly renewed passport. I thought the US was going
to issue biometric passports but if this one is biometric it's so
subtle I can't find it. Doesn't it require an embedded chip of some
kind? COme to think of it, they never asked for fingerprints or other

You can buy my schedule!28 Jul 2006 21:58 GMT3
But, I also decided to put up for auction a copy of My Daily Schedule!
As a mom of 9 children, I'm always asked how I do it! Well, a well
made, thought out schedule is how I do it, so I'm going to try to sell
it. Ha ha! I was just in a bit of a punchy mood today, so I figured it
Don't like being searched, Akhmed?28 Jul 2006 17:51 GMT5
Then stay the hell away from the airport.  Go ahead with your *boycott*.
The flying public would feel safer not having to press the flesh with
asslifters anyway ---
