Will airlines lower ticket prices now?12 Aug 2006 00:10 GMT12

especially for travel involving USA and UK?
There was NO terror plot11 Aug 2006 23:36 GMT5
This was all a story concocted by the Bush administration because they
supported Israel. Bush wants the Jews to continue to kill children and
women in Lebanon. So he decides to take the heat off this murderous

I just got off SIN-EWR (SQ22 nonstop) a few hours ago; according to the
in-flight map it followed the southern coastline of Alaska and went no

Pundit on News 24 speculating just now that it's only a matter of time
before travellers will have to submit to "intimate searches" and wear a
"sterile jumpsuit" while their clothing travels separately.
But loads of nonsense being spoken as well: like metal detectors at
Wiring money to yourself during travel...11 Aug 2006 11:34 GMT51
Does anyone know if you can wire money to yourself, saying using Western
Union or something like that?
Reason being, I had the unfortunate situation many years ago of having my
ATM card eaten up while in Europe - and I had not had a chance to withdraw
Carry-On as Checked Luggage11 Aug 2006 10:38 GMT2
Apologies if this is an obvious question, but the answer isn't obvious to
me!  I am flying out of the UK in the near future on British Airways, and I
am of course aware of the restrictions about carry-on luggage. I am going

everything around the seats was covered in grime.  The floor was
disgusting, the controls for the lights were grimy. Crap in the seat

Nice going ATL ;-)11 Aug 2006 01:41 GMT10
We flew home after our holiday last week from OGG-ORD-BRU. At least
that's what we planned ... AA cancelled our flight OGG-ORD and found

at BRU we had to get the word out to them but.. 12 hours time

The new carry on rules say that prescriptions can be carried on only if the
name on the medicine bottle matches the passengers name.  OK , I got that.
But, what about Non prescriptions - in my case Dramamine.  I normally carry
