Rumour control at Heathrow is suggesting that the bank holiday weekend may
well descend into chaos as BAA security become unable to cope with the
increase of passengers expected at that time, as the security regime is not
going to be reduced in the foreseeable future.

I'm arriving at Stansted on Wednesday and have a small bag I don't want to
carry around London during the day (going back in the evening). Is there a
place in Stanstedt or Liverpool Street Station which will keep my bag for
eight hours?

In conversation the other night at a party, somebody said that Easyjet
did a stand-by service, if you turn up at the airport and wait long
enough. I said I found that hard to believe, which prompts me to post
this question.

Yes, and though it's not clearly constitutional/un-constitutional,
imho.
This is, however,  MY personal opinion.
If I were the annoying-jerk-in-charge-of-airplane-security,

Massive over reaction as usual , no hand luggage ,bags, duty frees ,
hair gels, liquids to drink, no food ..
shavers ,laptops , mobile phones all banned ,just a passport and ticket
only allowed in the cabin!! How will pasengers tolerate this situation

We're flying to Orlando with Virgin in September for a week, we'll be
staying in a privately rented villa.  I understand from the Virgin website
that we need to provide Virgin with the address of where we will be staying
on our first night in the USA, before we get on the plane, ...

Does anyone know which aircraft BA use on their Inverness to Gatwick Route?
It is indicated as a 143 Operated by TH on the timetable but in their
aircraft code this one isn`t listed
