With so much uncertainty with air safety, I was wondering if there was
a government website that I can quickly scan before my trips thats
always up to date and tells me what is currently banned in carry-on
luggage? My biggest concern as they may at will decide to ban laptops

I am taking a ff miles award trip on Cathay. I was just told that there
is no advance seat selection fot "this kind of ticket".
It bugs me that airlines behave as if ff miles tickets are free gifts.
After all, I earned all of those miles by purchasing some

I can't find an info on Easyjet website. I want to take two bags as checked
luggage on EZY GVA to BCN. Total will exceed 20kg but will be less than
32Kg. Can anyone please point me in the right direction for info on excess
charges?

I've been farnarkling around on various flight bookings sites, including
straight Qantas, and have come up with an annoying routing problem.
My trip is from Canberra to a city in western USA. So that's usually
cbr-syd-lax-US City.

So now we know ... for the moment, one piece of hand baggage of max
dimensions 45 x 35 x 16cm.  Anyone yet been able to observe whether
security staff have tape measures to hand?  Or is this just the basis
for backing up subjective judgements as to whether bags are acceptable
