I was thinking of using Hotwire or Priceline to book a hotel room in Fort Lauderdale for the night before my cruise in April. Only thing is that Priceline states that reservations are only for 1 or 2 people, not 3 like in my family, so they are out. This leaves Hotwire for booking

While I'm pretty happy with London City Airport, KLM are starting to fly to Schiphol from BHX at 9:30am or thereabouts from next week. This, travel-wise, may be more convenient for me as I can take a direct train from MK and avoid the packed peak-time Tube.

Hi, I need to fly from London u.k. to Kathmandu, Nepal in the next few weeks. Someone who travels this route quite a lots says he finds Qatar Airways (with a stop at Doha) good. So I guess unless I hear otherwise I will fly with them.
