There have been many depictions of passengers getting scared prior to trakeoff in movies/TV over the years. In real life, do these situations actually happen ? Do the crews almost alwasy manage to calm the passengers down and give them enough comfort

Wife and I will be flying first time since restrictions implemented this weekend domestic US and back. I would like to take my laptop but it is not absolutely necessary. What is the security arrangement to carry it with me into the cabin now.

Any recommendation for a cheap hotel with shuttle near Newark? Given a choice between a 6AM flight to connect or a 9PM flight the previous day, the latter sounds better.

Mrs B is flying out from EMA on a Wednesday lunch time and then my sister is arriving there in the evening of the same day. Can anyone suggest somewhere they could leave the car keys and the car park ticket (S'pose that could stay in the car?) for a 'handover'?
