A "Late at the Gate" Horror Story....24 Nov 2006 19:52 GMT77
My daughter, the corporate road warrior, came up with a new twist to being

She and two others, marginally so, but on time, were waiting in the counter
line - going for 10 days and needing to check luggage -  at a very small

Frequent flier web site - info please21 Nov 2006 20:17 GMT11
Some time ago I came across a web site from the USA that discussed

personal experience and was not selling a book - from what I recall.....
United equipment transpacific21 Nov 2006 01:45 GMT5
Time for the semiannual trip across the Pacific. Anyone done this on
United recently? Has the economy class (or economy plus) experience
improved since my last SIN-HKG-SFO-NRT-SIN ordeal? Or is it still the
1972 planes?

gate and have never found any fantastic bargins.  certainly none that
are worth carrying around a bag of bottles on my trip.

Something I have wondered about for a long time. I hope that this is
not considered a stupid question but I am hoping that somebody could

the travelocity gnome is missing?20 Nov 2006 07:01 GMT2
Apparently, Travelocity lost their Roaming Gnome. There's a whole
site where some reporter is supposedly looking for him and she got a
hold of Travelocity's casting tape for the role of the gnome.
They're asking for people to send in their own gnome audition tapes.
