As many readers of this Usenet group are aware, there has never been a
requirement for a US citizen to present a passport for rentry into the US,

at the airport, but rooms there are over $150.

Is there a hotel at Singapore airport that is outside the transit area?  I
have searched but I get false hits all the time because every hotel in
Singapore claims to be "close" to the airport, even those in Sentosa!  I'm
looking for a reasonably priced room within walking ...

I wonder if someone can advise me about how much time I might need to
get through Heathrow on the 31st December. I was planning about 2 and
half hours but it looks pretty crowded in an article I read today. I
will be checking in online and I will have some luggage to travel in

Flew Virgin to US a couple of days ago.  We always exercise throughout the
