We flew ATL-MKE and then MKE-MSP on Midwest Express' Signature Service
last Friday (Boeing 717 both legs), and it was absolutely WONDERFUL.
I'm not a small guy, though I'll still fit in a normal coach seat w/o

These are dispiriting times for members of the nation's travel rewards

On the return trip from Johannesburg to Amsterdam via Paris I was charged by
Air France for 7 kilo's excess baggage the exorbitant rate of EUR 207,--.
That equals to almost EUR 30,-- per excess kilogram.  Not until after I had
reluctantly paid was I informed, that I could have ...

I'm getting conflicting reports whether Delta is still allowing first
class passengers 3 checked bags up to 70lbs each. Anyone with firsthand
knowledge?

What is the maximum conceivable non-stop air route between two
population centers (i.e. cities)?
My first thought was:
- LHR-AKL

I heard they stopped doing that for awhile.
We're doing an overnight stopover in NYC en route to Europe and don't want
to schlepp our bags in and out of the city.  Anyone used their left baggage
or have any thoughts as far as convenience, etc?

After having spent a few hours trapped in a commercial
passenger jet on a runway in the midst of a violent
thunderstorm at Philadelphia recently, I thought that
it was probably an abberation. But:

I'll be traveling from Manchester to Paris this week.  Departure time is
0930.  I plan to arrive at the airport about 0730.  Is that an adequate
amount of time to clear the security queue.  I will be traveling on a USA
passport.

'Oh, and don't sneak food onboard unless you brought enough for the
whole plane.'
this comes after they explain how you save money by buying their food
