| airport security waste of money | 31 Aug 2007 07:39 GMT | 40 |
airport security as it is now is a big waste of money... you have people who are inconsiderate, poorly trained, have poor work ethic and don't care. they need to keep in mind that they are dealing with people not objects.

I'm a college student at good ol' BSU (David Letterman, represent!) I just wanted to be able to talk about some of those neh-sayers who don't "want" or "like" to travel. I think these are the people who haven't tried it, or can't afford to. And because they can't do it,

| Runway question | 29 Aug 2007 10:32 GMT | 10 |
What is the convention for numbering runways? I had always assumed it would be related to compass direction, ie an aircraft landing on a South-North runway, the pilot would se the number 0 one way, and 180 the other way, but clearly this is not the case. The runway at Southampton ...

| OK to use non-TSA lock or not? | 28 Aug 2007 20:04 GMT | 6 |
At IAD, I had a non-TSA lock on my bag, and they didn't complain when I checked my bag. But at SFO, they demanded that I remove the lock when I checked my bag. What is the rule? I am OK with taking the risk that they will need to break the lock.
