I usually get an aisle seat, so as long as I have an A boarding(or not
the last in the B line) pass it makes no difference.   And yep, I
stand in line.  If I'm going to be sitting on my arse for a 3+ hour
flight, why would I want to sit down at the airport for another hour?

Okay, here are all the airliner models I've flown on during my
domestic travels:
Boeing: 717, 727, 737 (mostly 300), 747 (only twice maybe), 757, 767
Douglas DC-9 and several MD-XX

We are flying on Am. Airlines from the US to Santiago Chile, and the
AA carry-on limit is about 40 lbs.  Then a few days later we fly via
LAN.Chile Airlines from Santiago to 'way southern Chile, Punta Arenas,
and the weight limit for carry-ons is 17.6 lbs.  The 2 different

is the best time to buy a given ticket for a given flight based on
past history of how the fare changes prior to the date of the flight.
Anyone know what that site is?

I just received an offer from BA to get one of their credit cards, and
thus qualify for 2 for 1 in World Traveler Plus, Business, and First.
And I know of the AMEX Platinum card 2 for 1 in Business and First.

some airlines do a better job of maintaining their equipment than others
often the aircraft and other equipment are in two seperate categories. A
pilot can say I want this tire changed or what this fixed or the plane
does not fly...
