Last month I flew MSP-TYO-SIN and returned SIN-TYO-PDX-MSP. Going, I had to go through baggage x-ray and metal detector in TYO, and on the return I had to do so in TYO and PDX. I don't understand why. I had to pass the screening at the start of the

In Sep 2006 I flew MSP-ORD-HGK and return on United. On the trans-Pacific leg beer and liquor were free. Last month I flew MSP-TYO-SIN and return on NW. B + L were $5. Does United also charge now?

I've been flying internationally now for 48 years... and service has been getting worse... but this last trip to Jamaica was the pits. The trip down on Northwest Airlines was uneventful, no food of any sort included (not even a bag of peanuts) but softdrinks.

the swis sarmy knife atop a pen is not see by security people as having hte small i inch knife and scissors, it's seen and treated as if it's a pen. the device cam in handy, could not open the bag of peanuts so I sued the knife or scissors to cut the bag open.
