Overnight at STN10 Apr 2008 17:19 GMT4
Does anybody have any recomendations?
The Holiday Inn (Express) seems to be the only one that's near enough to be

'best' option, is their bus shuttle reliable?
Minimum layover at Kennedy?10 Apr 2008 16:00 GMT3
From LAX into JFK on Delta mid afternoon mid week late June, to catch
Delta flight leaving 75 minutes later for Europe. Is that enuf layover
time? Our first alternate is to go via Atlanta, with a 110 minute
layover. Otherwise, it is an overnight stay in NY.
Paris Vacation Tips10 Apr 2008 15:58 GMT24
What is it about Paris?
Is it the blend of romance and inspiration? Is it the great activities
the city has to offer? Or is it simply the great food and fine wines?

22 hr mechanical delay -- what should airline owe passengers?07 Apr 2008 23:11 GMT10
Hello -- I was on a United airlines flight to Hawaii. The last leg was Los
Angeles to Honolulu.  Two mechanical failures, much management bufoonery and
22 hours late, we arrived to Honolulu.  The weather was fine.  100% fault of
mechanical issues.  United got our bags on another ...

LHR T5 fiasco - who is to blame for this?07 Apr 2008 15:36 GMT22

What the media never seems to explain is *who* is to blame for it.
Is it BAA or BA or both?

My son is coming on the spur of the moment for a visit in 2 weeks time.
He is going to try the new Northwest direct flight from AMS - PDX starting the
UK end in Manchester.
This is the bit that shook me. His ticket price is £341.70 of which £219.50 is
BA Stonewalling...06 Apr 2008 20:24 GMT24
I have posted before on my attempt to claim under the EU legislation for a
cancelled flight last year. It seems to fit the criteria but BA have more or
less ignored me over the past 7 months. I did receive a £50 voucher while
their "EU Compliance" dept looked into it but that was ...

Be interesting to know what airlines you think are the best you have
travelled on. Why are they the best? And how to international airlines
compare with USA airlines?
In my experience the best international airline I have travelled on is
One of the best goes and one of the worst stays.06 Apr 2008 07:31 GMT3
I was just reading a story about Aloha continually being one of the
best airlines in terns of on-time performance, and mishandled bags.
The story then went on to say that Mesa the company the owns Go! is
