Ryanair - what is required if kid (14Y) travels alone01 Jul 2008 00:05 GMT4
Something stays unclear even after reading the Ryanair website again

a friend ( not direct family ) then apparently i should make some
paper confirming this is OK. Does someone know how i should make this
LHR transfer figures30 Jun 2008 21:36 GMT22
Often hard to find, these figures quoted today by Willie Walsh:
"He explained that on Heathrow flights to and from Manchester, 75% of
passengers were transferring. On services to and from Leeds/Bradford,
Newcastle and Tees-side, the proportion was between 55% and 60%.
Frequent Flyer Programs30 Jun 2008 19:03 GMT18
I last posted on this subject about three months ago.  Since that time, I

business class tickets to Southeast Asia using American Airlines Advantage
Miles on either Cathay Pacific or Japan Airlines for the ...
Another Luggage Question29 Jun 2008 20:01 GMT5
We are searching for a 26" drop-bottom, rolling duffel bag that is
light-weight and under $100. Can anyone here recommend a particular
brand.  It has to be a 26" bag. Lots of 29" bags are on sale but that's
because they are all too big for airline regulations, as they exceed 62

For Skis, there rules state:

carry-on luggage28 Jun 2008 23:03 GMT51
How strict is United about carry-on luggage?  I flew with them last
year on a domestic flight, and my carry-on was a bit bigger than
allowed but the flight attendant was nice and stowed it away for me.
I am now flying with them on an international flight.  Are they pretty

September?

"Foreign airlines lure Bay Area clientele with full frills"28 Jun 2008 18:28 GMT4
A good article in today's San Jose Mercury News, mostly about EVA, but
about some other airlines as well.

Newbie question: London to Aberdeen, what's the best way?28 Jun 2008 18:28 GMT13
I shall be in London this September, staying in South Croydon, and
would like to make a side-trip to Aberdeen for 2-3 days.
I have been to London/Croydon a few times, but have never ventured
beyond and would appreciate some travel advice.

Flying AF to Paris in the Fall. Opinions you have on flights with
them?  Gotta be better than on US airlines these days. Hopefully,
anyway.
Thanks.
Does There Currently Seem To Be Less Passengers?27 Jun 2008 16:19 GMT7
Obvious questions for an expected answer.
Are there (noticeable) less vehicles on your highways and roads?
I would rather see personal observations rather than media reports.
ryanair- what happens if one person on itinerary can't make the trip?27 Jun 2008 08:28 GMT3
One person has had to pull out of an upcoming trip- we're all web
check-in. Will this matter, or do I have to call Ryanair in advance?
It's too soon for me to print out the boarding passes yet, so there may
be another option then. I see no option online to remove one person from
