| If You Are Obese and Unable To Use Lavatory Should You FLy | 18 Aug 2008 10:18 GMT | 13 |
I am retired from a major carrier and we had an obese woman fly from west coast to east. She was too large to fit into the lavatory and she attempted to relieve herself in the airsick bag. IMHO this woman should have been denied boarding! What are your thoughts?

| Meals on planes | 18 Aug 2008 06:31 GMT | 24 |
I feel like I am always playing Russian roulette when it comes to meals on the plane. Airlines no longer serve food (which considering the selection/quality is probably a good thing). And depending on the time of day, terminal

now that some airlines are charging for a 2nd piece of checked luggage I'm wondering if they charge for transport of a "handicapped mobility aid" (wheelchair, folding bike, other odd stuff). in the past US carriers would often start with giving me some grief...

| Strange happenings on arrival at MAD | 13 Aug 2008 11:27 GMT | 2 |
I flew LHR-MAD-LHR this weekend. Fairly uneventful trip - checked in online, arrived LHR at about 1630 on a Friday and it was a breeze, T2 security in < 10 minutes, and then off for IRIS enrolment. To my delight there was only 1 chap in front of me, and the whole process took ...

| easyJet hand baggage questions | 12 Aug 2008 19:09 GMT | 2 |
For an easyJet flight Gatwick-Cologne I'm considering taking only hand baggage but have several questions not answered clearly on their site: 1) Max size of bag? The BAA site says = 56 x 45 x 25 cm. But EZ Jet spec is 55 x 40 x 20 cm, quite a lot smaller. Why this substantial

| Standby Flights | 12 Aug 2008 03:38 GMT | 5 |
I haven't seen any recent discussion on this, so I'd like to ask you if they are COMPLETELY gone (except for buying a full price ticket and trying for an earlier flight) or are there still airlines doing this? Thanks
