we are planning to go from berlin to beijing via transib and then on to
vietnam, cambodia, laos. i have heard that for the return journey it might
be cheaper to buy transib tickets in beijing than to buy a return ticket in

Does anyone know good choices for 2-bedroom
suites in Koh Samui or other nice place in Thailand.
Should be under 60 USD/night and preferably

I live in Ubud, Bali, and would like to go to Nepal then Thailand then
return.  I am being quoted about $800 here, which seems a bit much.
Any suggestions?  I could buy a ticket in Bangkok on the way to
Kathmandu, I'd rather not but if it saves enough money I will.

I'm intending to go to Malaysia in December and would like some advise
regarding beaches where you can swim. I read in a review that Penang and
Langkawi suffer from murky waters and lots of jellyfish and that hardly any
one swims there. I'd like to hear if this is true or not and ...

Well everybody who's been to Laos must have eaten a dish of delicious
crispy Lao noodles? Yes, well can anybody give me a recipe for making
some back home (in the UK) using ingredients that are easily available

We are contemplating a visit to Penang in the near future and would
appreciate any comments about any recent experiences, good and/or less than
good, of this city and its surrounding regions. We would be looking to stay
at a 3 or 4 star establishment.
