| Goa trip question | 20 Aug 2003 11:09 GMT | 2 |
A thirty-something American couple, who have to be in Delhi and Bombay during the first 1/2 of September 2003 on a relatively short notice (as you can see, it is August), is interested in a 3-4 day tour package of Goa.

| US Dollar De-valued In Burma...(?) | 19 Aug 2003 20:44 GMT | 5 |
I've heard through the Burmese "grape vine" that the US Dollar - along with the FEC - is going to soon be de-valued, with the new foreign currency of choice to be the Euro (or the Singapore Dollar/Japanese Yen if both parties to a transaction agree.) This move is supposedly

Next week I will be traveling to Beijing for about five days. Any opinions on the top three or four tourist venues? How about overrated tourist spots? Lastly, how about evening venues, excluding Chinese opera and acrobatics? Thanks in advance

| Everest base camp, late October - how cold? | 19 Aug 2003 07:18 GMT | 2 |

We'll be in Penang for a couple of nights in early October, and we'd be interested to hear recommendations for hotels. We're looking for a good-quality hotel (probably beachfront, but doesn't have to be) rather than a dirt-cheap backpacker dive, though!
