Does anyone know a hotel that is close to the MBK mall in bangkok?

I will be traveling to China in mid december and want to then travel
from Beijing to the mideast. I have been told it's cheaper to get in
touch with a travel agent in china and get them tto book that leg.
However, I have no idea how to find one in china. Can someone suggest

Note the comments about the road construction between Pleiku and Da
Nang. Anyone been on that section of road lately?

Am travelling from Singapore to Koh Samui.
