I recently purchased an N80 body. In 5 months, I will be going on a 3 week trek in Nepal and Tibet. In order to save weight and space, I would prefer to carry just a single lens. I was thinking about a 28-200. Does anyone have any personal experience or recommendations?

We just returned from a great time in the Huai Nam Dang National Park north of Chiang Mai. It's only about a 90 minute drive to the Pong Dued Hot Springs, and there is plenty to see and do there for the entire family. But bring plenty of film. You're going to need it there!

I am going to China in July for the first time and want to go down the Li River (near Guilin). However, I hear that it is extremely touristy and I want to avoid that. Does anyone know of a beautiful, quiet river where one could get off every few miles and visit villages?
