Going to Malaysia in two weeks. We'll spend 4 nights in Penang. Can anyone
recommend a nice 4 star hotel. I can find lots of offers on the internet for
discounted deals, however a lot of these hotels don't get nice reviews on
asiahotels.com or in Lonely Planet.

Sorry, I know this is a really boring request but anyone can help

I need to get from Singapore to Bangkok as quickly and cheaply as
possible (so travelling by either coach or train).

I to fly from Bkk  to Chinag Mai and then hire a care  and drive to
Pahyao-Ching Saen- Chang Rai  and around.
Further  is it adviceable to drive from  Phuket -Phang Nga - Krabi -Nakhon
Si Thammarat as well?

Ok, otherday i was watching this program on tv.  It struck me as this would
be a good place to vist when i next go to hong kong only problem was i never
got the address or whereabouts.
So somewhere in hong kong there is this place where you can go shrimp <i

Any one used this pass lately and was it easy to arrange flights to other

I have planned to go travelling through Thailand and Indonesia, flying out
of Bali onto Australia..
The trouble is, with the new regulations i cannot get a 60 day on arrival
visa yet i must catch my flight from Bali, I cannot apply for an Indonesian

I'm stopping by Koh Samui on the way home following a business trip
i'm taking to Malaysia in a couple of weeks.
Does anyone know what the left luggage options are at Koh Samui
airport? if any.

my friend and I will viset Myanmar in Fbb,,.OK.Most posting tell us
that we are better not to hire a tour form a tour Co. ..Very costly..
But to get a guide. Is it better to hire a car and driver...Or fly..OR
train and bus..Or?? DO we pay for guides travel cost?

I had a friend who had a beautiful ring made in Myanmar.  I was
wondering if they made gold bands with rubies and sapphires incrusted
in Cambodia where I'm going?
