Does anybody know

Next month my friend and I will viset Mnyanmar.. We hope to do some
trekking at Kangtung  Then go to Tachileik and cross the border to Mai
Sai Thailand..  Can this be done?..Any advise as to other places to

I am planning a trip to Thailand in February. I was thinking of taking the
train from Bangkok to Chiang Mai, however I seem to be getting indications
that it's not that good an idea.

there is a border crossing in north eastern Cambodia but i don't think it's
open for foreigners.  else i have to cross over to Laos [not keen on another
expensive Lao visa] and go on from there.  unless there are flights from PP
