A friend of mine told me that there wis a pass available for air travel in
India. Something like onof hte Chinese airlines used to offer. anyone know

Further to an earlier query re. Japan Railpass, is the following

lately i came back from a trip to this place called Bintan Island -
Indonesia. I didn't know that there is this place in Indonesia besides
Bali, Jakarta. Had lots of fun on the island - very tropical, fruits.

Thanks to all of those who answered my various pre-holiday questions. We had

We spent 5 nights at the Sheraton Imperial in KL and 11 nights in the
Shangri-La Rasa Ria in Sabah, both of which hotels I would highly recommend.
