I`m in the early stages of planning a trip to the Philippines next March &
as I have to go to Cagayan de oro from Manila I was wondering if anybody
could help me out with the travel options to Boracay from CDO as I really
want to visit there having read so much about it.

I was there in '97.  Just HCMC and Nha Trang.
I'll be going back there with a friend sometime November or December
(not sure exactly yet).  
I had seen some stuff about VN on TV and noticed it was built up a bit

It appears that  the normal visa for tourists in Thailand is 30 days ,
we would like to stay 60-90 days .Can a visa  of this length be
obtained on arrival ?  Is it necessary to contact the Thai embassy  in
advance ? Thanks !!!!

Well, here I am in China. Fortunately it turns out that I am surrounded by
helpful English-speaking Chinese computer geeks.
One of them has suggested that I dial 16300, and then also use username and
password 16300. Indeed it works, as I am posting this now. Slower than

Is English enough in the big cities of China, Korea, and Japan? Is it rather
a case of much of Europe, where some people speak a bit, but generally it is
a myth that you're fine if you know English?

I apologise to you all for my recent childish and infantile behaviour. I
thought that I was actually helping to promote my business with every such
post but now realise that I have only been making a fool of myself, and my
attacks on Robert Johnson and other posters on the groups ...
