My wife and I will be in northern Thailand January 11th -> Jan 26th of 2005.
I've searched everywhere to try find a listing of city festivals but am
getting spotty results.
Any ideas of where to get a complete listing and/or personal knowledge?

We've read somewhere that it's possible to book a day trip from Chiang Mai
with return airtix inlc tour and all to Mae Hong Son to see the Long-neck
Hilltribe ppl .Anyone done this before ?

Planing 2 months in Thailand . One month in the north and one in the
south . Is there a spot that we could store gear and or souvenirs , so
as not to haul them around ?

I am after some advice on where to organise my honeymoon.
We have decided on Thailand, and decided Phuket.
The Maldives was a bit over our budget.

I've been to China twice, both times on a tour.  I'm considering going
independently in late Oct./early November.  I can book a round trip flight
from the USA, but am wondering how difficult it will be to book flights and
hotels in China as I'm a foreigner and don't speak Chinese.  ...

I see conflicting [possibly dated] information on the route the A-1 bus
takes out Silom Road.  Does it currently go beyond the Naria Hotel to near
the ShanrgriLa? I will be staying near the Taksin Station.  How close does
it go these days?

Has anyone booked travel from London to Thailand with any of the
Bangkok Travel agents. They seem to be able to get cheaper deals than
UK agent. Is it safe to deal with them from UK.Has anyone done this
recently--  Namely Charlie connection or Olavi Tours?

We're four persons arriving at Bangkok airport at 3PM Wednesday December
15th. Expect to be trough immigration etc. in an hour. Instead of going into
Bangkok just to get up early next morning, we're considering to take a taxi
directly towards the Cambodian border.

Okay, I'm merely in the planning stages, but I figure as I plan the trip out
(its probably a year or so away, realistically), I should probably ask for
advice from people who know where it is that I'm travelling. I've also done
some initial research as well. So, I ask...

I want to fly around 29 december from Bangkok to Phuket.
Who knows the price and/or where to book?
