I have a layoever in Shanhai on a flight from Seoul to Bangkok. I will
be there for about 5 hours and 15 minutes and was thinking of going
into the city for an hour or so if possible. Is this a good idea? I am
flying on Chinese Eastern Airline. Would I need a visa to leave the

I'm staying in Thailand for about 4 days on my way to India. Is there
someplace in Bangkok airport where I can store 2-3 large suitcases
safely - such as the storage lockers present in Singapore airport?

I've been to Thailand a number of times, but never over the Xmas/NY period.
I presumed that New Year's Day (Jan 1) would not be a public holiday in
Thailand, as I thought the Thais celebrated NY later.  However, the booklet
that the travel agent foisted on to me states that NYE and ...

does anybody know how long you can make a deposit in safe-deposit boxes at
the airport in bangkok. is it limited for some days or a week? is it
possible to make a deposition for 4 weeks?
