My wife and I just got back from our Myanmar trip.  If you're staying
in Yangon, check out the Motherland Inn near Sule Paya.  The staff was
super friendly, and the food was great(cheap beer too).  You can
exchange your dollars at the hotel.

I have a cuz who is trying to discover a way of getting to the
phillipines by boat from the u.s. bc of his inability to travel by
airplane due to heart problems. there are many ships that come to the
u.s. from the phillipines but how do we get info on making traveling

I am a 25 yrs old guy planning to travel to Thailand for this new
year, perhaps around 25th of December upto 2nd of January. I am
curious to know if someone else is travelling during the same time and
is alone like me and would like to hook up for the vacation ?

Cathay Pacific Airways clarified facts relating to an incident
involving CX751 from Bangkok to Mumbai on 1 December, 2004.

I'll be in South India from Jan to May 2005. Mainly I'll stay in Yoga
ashram but I'll have about 2 month backpacking around South India.
I'll bring money belt and a key chain lock for backpack. Of course
I'll buy insurance. I think I'll must stay away from tap water always

JR East announced on November 19th that it plans to have the Joetsu Shinkansen
running again by December 28th.  (This date is still a "goal", but they vow to
put in every effort to make it.)  Trains will run slower on the repaired
section, adding about 15 minutes to travel time ...

I'm heading to Indonesia in a month or so and looking at air schedules and
prices, and EVA has the best for my needs (I have to sit up front,
Business/First, on long trips). I know nothing about EVA and would like any
