I am planning a land journey from south to north Vietnam. 5 weeks commencing
end of March.
I'm from Australia and occasionally I hear news items that talk about the
fact that at this point in time Vietnam is on the brink of a bird flu

Anyone know (as in know the location and phone number) a roast duck
restaurant in Bejing with the word "pear" (li2) in the name? It
doesn't seem to be one of the most popular tourist ones, but I've had
it recommended.

I am arriving KL Monday morning abt 0340 after overnight flt from Sydney.
Leaving that evening abt 1900. Being very early arrival, I suppose it would

We're looking to fly from Seattle to Bejing in April. Right now, there
are no direct flights from Seattle. So we have a choice of stop-overs,
depending on airline of San Francisco, Tokyo, or Vancouver. At the
moment, Vancouver is the cheapest flight by a little.
