what kind of shoes to bring for the following 2 reasons:
Hong Kong ATMs28 Feb 2005 15:19 GMT6
I saw the recent discussion about travellers cheques being unnecessary
in Thailand 'cos you're better off using ATMs.  Is the same true for
Hong Kong?
Are there any areas of S-E-Asia where ATMs are too rare to rely on?

Langkawi Hotels28 Feb 2005 08:50 GMT2
My travel agent has suggested Holiday Villa Langkawi Resort, but while it is
the "right area" it has some negative reviews. Has anyone been recently to
give an up to date opinion?  The reviews tell of poor maintenance and old
towels.

Is there anything to see in Asia?27 Feb 2005 02:27 GMT42
Hi, I don't like crowded places, or places where people don't say excuse me.
I've heard many arguments over the years about how I should "accept" such
behavior, but I cannot.  Is there anything left to see in Asia?  Religion
does not interest me either.

Do they seem legit? Anyone had any experience there? I've been to
Cebu but never went to the casinos... In PI it wouldn't be a surprise if
their casinos weren't entirely legit.
