Just trying to work out whether it better going down the whole package deal thing. Doing the maths, it seems to be cheaper going down the package deal route however I keep hearing otherwise.

Can anyone suggest a good hotel on Chaweng (middle of the beach) with good sized rooms. Stayed at Banana Fan a couple of years ago but the rooms were too small. Otherwise it was OK. Will be travelling with kids

My wife and I are doing a stopover in Hong Kong flying from Heathrow to Sydney, our first time there. We get into Hong Kong at 13:20 on Thur 9th June at 13:20 - after 12 hour flight from Heathrow, so we're likely to be bit tired :)
