I'm trying to plan a trip that involves Thailand and Australia. What
kind of price am I looking at to fly Bangkok to Sydney (or Melbourne)
return? What about Sydney/Melbourne to Bangkok return?

I'll be in Chengdu mid-october and would like to do the final jump to Lhasa
from there.  What are the latest news about how easy is it for a lonesome
traveller to get to Lhasa? (I'm quite allergic to organized tours).

My girlfriend and I booked a ten day trip to Dubai some time ago, and just
discovered that we are going there during Ramadan (Oct 6-16).
Can anybody tell us how this will affect our trip? We will go no matter
