My family are going to Turkey for a holiday soon. I'd like to take a pair of two-way radios so we can keep in touch when separated as the mobile phone roaming charges are astronomical. Does anyone know if two- way radios or walkie-talkies are allowed in Turkey?

We spent August in Phuket in 2004. It was very pleasant. Rained nearly every day - but did not spoil it. This May we would like to go snorkelling. So thinking a week in Koh Samui and 4 days Koh Tao.
